Allied Membership is for individuals employed outside of the architectural practice but who are involved in a position allied to the field of architecture. AIA-NJ Allied Membership Application
As an Allied Member you will become a part of our community and be afforded the same opportunity to attend general membership meetings as our regular AIA architect members. You will have access to meet decision makers and discuss your projects and offerings at social hours and dinners and you will be invited to take part in all our special events and programs. Currently ALNNJ offers general membership meetings, programs and dinners free to their members. Special meetings, programs, tours and events typically have some associated fee for all members to cover costs and raise scholarship monies and operating funds for the League.
Allied Members are also allowed and encouraged to participate on committees that are of interest to them and/or where they may have some expertise or knowledge to lend. We appreciate having additional eyes and know-how to keep things running smoothly.
For Allied Members, the membership year runs from January through December. Dues payments are handled through AIA-NJ. Renewal notices are sent out by AIA-NJ in October. Renewal dues that are not paid by the following March will result in Inactive status. Allied Dues are not prorated, however those members who join in October through December, will receive up to 15 months for the price of 12 until the next renewal cycle begins.
