Arthur L. Davis, AIA

Arthur Lewis Davis, AIA, joined the Architects League in 1970.  He served the League as Treasurer, Vice President, and in 1985 as President. Arthur was the recipient of the Vegliante Award – the League’s highest honor – in 1997.   He was a man of great humor and a great lover of all things cultural.

Following Arthur’s death in 2000, his wife Lenore provided annual donations to the League in contribution to the Arthur L. Davis Lecture Series.  Lenore passed in 2012.  The League has continued to honor the memory of Arthur Davis by holding this event annually in the years since his passing.
