A licensed architect, recent college graduate or exam candidate can follow this link to Join the AIA. Membership in the AIA automatically enrolls you in the State Chapter and the local section where you work or live.
As an AIA Member or AIA Associate Member you will become a part of our community and be afforded the opportunity to attend all our general membership meetings. You will have the chance to meet and socialize with your local colleagues at social hours and dinners and you will be invited to take part in all our special events and programs. Currently ALNNJ offers general membership meetings, programs and dinners free to our members. Special meetings, programs, tours and events typically have some associated fee for all members to cover costs and raise monies for programs and operating funds for the League.
Members are also encouraged join our board or to participate on committees that are of interest to them and/or where they may have some expertise or knowledge to lend. We appreciate having additional eyes and know-how to keep things running smoothly.
New Graduates: Join us at the American Institute of Architects when you graduate and receive complimentary membership for up to 18 months, plus free Convention registration. Some restrictions apply. Go to www.aia.org/join_grad to learn more.
